The Kinnaird English Club had the honor of hosting a book launch session with our very own, Kanza Javed. This special event marked her remarkable comeback with her second book after an impressive gap of seven years, making the occasion even more meaningful for everyone present.
The session featured the author sharing her journey as a writer, reflecting on her experiences, challenges, and growth over the years. She offered valuable advice and practical tips to aspiring writers in the audience, encouraging them to stay consistent, believe in their creativity, and never give up on their passion for writing. Her words served as motivation for many students who dream of pursuing writing as a career.
The event concluded with an engaging Rapid Fire Quiz hosted by the esteemed Head of the English Language and Literature Department, Ma’am Mahwish Khan. The quiz added an element of excitement and fun to the session, allowing students to actively participate and test their knowledge.
All attendees eagerly participated in the interactive discussion, raising thoughtful questions about textbooks, publications, and the writing process. They were particularly intrigued by the personal anecdotes shared by Kanza Javed as she explained the inspirations, stories, and deeper meanings behind the pieces included in her latest book, “What Remains After A Fire.”
The session was not only informative but also inspiring, leaving the audience motivated and appreciative of the dedication and hard work that goes into producing meaningful literary work. It was truly a memorable event for the Kinnaird English Club and everyone who attended.
