Kinnaird College for Women had the pleasure of welcoming the Head of International development, esteemed Professors and the Pakistan team of University of Essex on 2nd February 2026.

The guests included Mr. Ivan Hutchins, Head of International Development, Professor Simon Weidenholzer from Economics, whose research spans Microeconomics, Game Theory, and Social Networks; Dr. Akram from Essex Business School, an expert in Digital Marketing, AI, and Marketing Strategy and Dr. Nicolas Geeraert from Psychology, specializing in acculturation and cross-cultural psychology.

The delegation met with the Principal and Deans to explore collaborative opportunities to strengthen academic ties and the professors engaged in fruitful discussions with the students and faculty by sharing meaningful research insights.

This visit aimed to foster stronger academic collaborations, share innovative research, and explore new opportunities for joint projects and exchanges between the two institutions. We are excited about the potential to build bridges across borders and enhance our global academic community!
