innaird College for Women, Lahore welcomed the incoming undergraduate and postgraduate students on 17 August 2026 through its Orientation Programme, marking the beginning of a new academic journey.
The programme, held at Hladia Hall and Eric Massey Hall, brought together College leadership, Academic Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty, staff and student representatives to introduce students to the Kinnaird community, its academic environment and campus services.
Principal Prof. Dr Iram Anjum warmly welcomed the new students, highlighting Kinnaird’s rich history and legacy dating back to 1913 and encouraging students to embrace the opportunities and responsibilities of College life. Vice Principal Dr Kalsoom Akhtar highlighted Kinnaird’s guiding values of Light, Courage and Love, encouraging active participation in societies, extracurricular activities and student representation.
Students were introduced to their respective Academic Deans, Heads of Departments, the Directorate of Student Affairs and key support services, including counselling and wellbeing, library resources, accessibility support, institutional policies and the College CMS portal.
The programme concluded with cohort photographs, departmental orientations and a College tour. The undergraduate cohort formed the number 30, representing the class of 2030, while the postgraduate cohort formed 28, representing the class of 2028.
Orientation 2026 marked not only the beginning of a new academic year but also the start of a journey into the history, values, opportunities and community that define the Kinnaird experience. The College warmly welcomes its new undergraduate & graduate cohorts and wishes them a fulfilling and successful journey ahead.
