Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Iram Anjum, Principal, the Active Citizenship Project of the Department of Political Science was launched with the first plate placed for the “Lams Shanasai” initiative.

Supervised by Tabita Victor and supported by Ms. Tayyaba Azhar, In Charge of Uniquely Abled Students, the project was led by Mishal Mona, Haram Saqib, and Maryam Ahsan. Their thoughtful effort aims to support visually impaired students through a Braille-based identification system.

The students designed specially crafted steel plates with embossed Braille dots, displaying classroom names to help visually impaired students move around the college independently and with confidence.

A beautiful initiative of empathy, accessibility, and empowerment.
