The Collection Drive started in November 2025 and continued through December 2025.
All the collected items for the flood affectees were finally handed over to the representatives of Commander Central Punjab (COMCEP) on 20th January 2026.
Students, faculty members, administrative staff, and the wider college community actively participated in the drive by generously donating warm clothing, blankets, shawls, and other essential winter items. The response was overwhelming, demonstrating a deep sense of empathy and solidarity with those who had lost homes and livelihoods due to the floods.
The entire initiative received full support and encouragement from the Principal of Kinnaird College for Women, Dr. Iram, whose leadership played a vital role in the successful execution of the drive. The campaign was widely promoted across the campus, ensuring maximum awareness and participation, and fostering a culture of compassion and collective action among students.
After careful organization and sorting, all collected items were formally handed over to the representatives of Commander Central Punjab (COMCEP) on 20th January 2026. This handover marked the successful culmination of the drive, ensuring that the donated items would be distributed efficiently to flood affectees in need.
Through this meaningful initiative, Kinnaird College for Women reaffirmed its dedication to community service and humanitarian values, setting a strong example of how educational institutions can contribute positively to society during times of crisis.
