Bachelor of Design (Textile Design)
This 4-year dynamic program aims to develop student artistic, conceptual thinking along with integrated practical skills, in meeting the industrial demands. The program enhances student’s skill-set in multiple design dimensions leading towards future endeavors. First year starts with foundation courses for two semesters where students are introduced to the basics of Drawing, Design, Drafting and 3D Studio alongside theory courses. In semester 3, Textile design students proceed towards learning a variety of major Textile design courses; color, print design, knitting, stitching, pattern making, weaving, fiber dyeing so forth.
In semester 5 and 6, students are exposed to advanced level of textile design courses which develop their analytical, conceptual and technical approaches to formulate their creative venture for global linkages. Students are further introduced to supportive courses such as textile history, textile marketing and merchandizing, textile pricing and costing. In semester 7 and 8 students are free to choose their self-initiated project and work towards a design intervened approach encompassing textiles for their final degree show.

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive practical and theory-based education addressing various aspects of textile and applied art – enabling students to enhance their artistic capacities in competing in a professionally global market.
Admission Requirments
Qualifications:
- FA/F.Sc Part-I with minimum 50% marks OR A-level in three main subjects (no subsidiary) with minimum Grade C (50%) with Equivalence Certificate OR Grade 12 with minimum Grade C (50%) with Equivalence Certificate.
- All applicants must appear for an aptitude test based on drawing and design ability. An interview and portfolio review of previous work will be conducted of the short listed applicants.
Degree Requirments
To receive Bachelor of Design degree, a student must complete a total of 134 credit hours with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.

Active Citizenship Program
Active Citizenship program offered by Kinnaird College in collaboration with British Council and HEC is a social leadership training program that promotes intercultural dialogue and community-led social development. It is a mandatory requirement for the completion of underGraduate degree and based on two semesters. All students will study the theoretical portion through different activities starting in their 3rd semester. They will plan their social action projects in 4th semester and implement it in the field.
