The objective of the event was to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir, acknowledge their sacrifices and resilience, and reaffirm commitment to peace, justice, and human rights.
Kinnaird College for Women observed Kashmir Solidarity Day by organizing a symbolic and reflective programme aimed at promoting unity and awareness regarding the ongoing situation in Kashmir. The event was conducted with enthusiasm and discipline, reflecting the values of empathy and social responsibility.
A map of Pakistan and Kashmir was drawn at the center of the basketball court. Selected students stood within the map to represent national unity, while all participants formed a human chain around it, symbolizing harmony, collective strength, and solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.
The event was held under the supportive leadership of the Principal, Dr. Iram.
The programme concluded with a two-minute silence, observed with deep respect in remembrance of the martyrs and innocent lives lost. This moment of reflection served as a solemn call for peace, dignity, and the protection of fundamental human rights.
