Kinnaird College Mourns the Tragic Loss of Two Beloved Students
Lahore, April 29, 2025 — Kinnaird College for Women expresses profound sorrow and mourns the very tragic and untimely passing of two of its cherished students, Aida Faheem and Eman Rauf.
Earlier this morning, at approximately 7:50 AM, Ayda Faheem suffered a tragic fall from a balcony after reportedly feeling dizzy. The college administration responded immediately, contacting emergency services within two minutes. Rescue 1122 arrived on the scene within ten minutes and transported Ayda to the nearest medico-legal hospital, accompanied by senior management and college staff. Despite all efforts, she was pronounced deceased. All medical and legal formalities were adopted as per standard protocol. Local authorities have completely reviewed the incident site, which remained preserved for formal investigation.
In a separate heartbreaking incident, Eman Rauf, who had sustained critical burn injuries at her home last Thursday, also passed away this morning.
The entire Kinnaird community is deeply shaken by the loss of these two exceptional young women. Both Aida and Eman were bright, compassionate, and deeply loved members of our student body. Their absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled.
